Classical Luxury Home Architectural Interior Design - Classical French Italian European Interior Design
How many have been inspired by photos of classical buildings and their interiors and have been led to visit the same in person only to realize how much detail, time, and money the work entailed and that the translation of period elements into a contemporary residence meant that much compromise had to be made? In fact when many architects reach Rome and inspect the ancient and more recent classically inspired buildings of the mid 19th Century they are completely overwhelmed with the sheer scale, effort, talent and even cost to replicate or duplicate the same in any commercial or residential project. Creating Roman or Greek and Renaissance Italian based villas in today's economy is a daunting undertaking. It has to start with an architect who has been 'trained' properly in the specific period style. And there must be methods/materials available to execute designs properly. In future posts we will discuss the 'hows' in more detail. In the meanwhile I am happy to respond to any questions you may have concerning designing and building a period style house.
